    Mission Statement

Loved and called by God, we, the members of St. Thomas Parish, are a Christian community committed to living our faith in the Roman Catholic tradition. Through baptism, we share the responsibility of continuing the mission of Jesus on earth.

St. Thomas is a unique place of pilgrimage and tourism in all of Catholic Kentucky. We are a parish of vitality, rich in historical tradition of Kentucky Catholicism. We treasure God's gifts with all of God's people.

Our mission is to proclaim the Good News, to welcome all people, to serve those in need, to foster formation and education of children and adults. We seek to live the joy of Easter with the courage of Pentecost.

With the gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit, we pledge to make Christ more visible in our community and to make this parish that all who love God can call home.
